Description
This Blue Label edition is a timeless Scotch with a hopping twist.
Johnnie Walker needs no introduction since its iconic Whiskies represent a staple at any half-decent bar. Established in 1860 in Ayrshire, Scotland, this world-famous Whisky made its way around the globe and is now sold in more than 120 countries. John Walker’s son, Alexander, was a clever lad too, as he kickstarted global export during the period when the sun never set on the British Empire. It is now owned by Diageo, a global leader in premium drinks, offering many a fine Spirit. The Johnnie Walker brand uses a signature square bottle, which is prone to lesser breakages and the careful placing of the label—24 degrees upwards from left to right— makes the text larger and easily read from any angle.
Blue Label is the most exquisite out of the Jonnie Walker bunch, and Diageo’s special release features the Blue Label Year of The Rabbit limited edition. The dazzling design of the bottle was created by a young fashion artist Angel Chen, who portrayed a modern interpretation of the 2023 Zodiac animal, the prancing rabbit. According to Chinese culture, the rabbit symbolizes longevity, ingenuity and hope—all aspects of what we wish for from a good Whisky. Bottled at 40% ABV, it has a mellow and well-rounded aroma with notes of dry smokiness and sweetness, a velvety blend of vanilla and hazelnuts and a luxuriously long finish.
