Description
Port Ellen was one of the great ones – the long-forgotten magic shop of Islay Scotch. It closed down the same year Bonnie Tyler sang about cardiac eclipses and somewhere in its nooks, an inky peat beast was hiding all these decades.
To be frank, Whisky this good should not exist if we are to trust the laws of nature. The 32-year-old is the very fabric the wet dreams of Islay lovers are made of. It’s oily, smoky and salty. If this were your first peaty Whisky, the rest of your life would be a series of disappointments chasing this dragon.
