Description
A glimpse into the glorious past of one of Scotland’s most historic distilleries.
Orphan Barrel Whiskey distillery has a special mission: finding the rarest, the most exclusive and the most ritzy barrels of Whiskey around. They then lock the Spirits into their bottles — all their treasures are hand bottled in Tullahoma, Tennessee —and offer limited-edition first-class potions for us to lose our collective minds. It’s a Diageo endeavor and they found some fantastic ultra-fancy Whiskeys in the last few years.
Orphan Barrel 26 Year Old Muckety-Muck Single Grain Scotch Whisky is something else. The label honors the piggery that once upon a time stood beside the Port Dundas Distillery – one of Scotland’s most historic distilleries that was established in 1810 and produced A LOT of exceptional Whisky until 2010 when it closed its doors. With this expression, you get a glimpse into the past with the select remaining stocks. Aged for 26 years, this rare Single Grain Scotch offers you light fruit flavors mingling with butterscotch, vanilla, and toasted oak that carry on through the smooth finish. Sip it neat!
