Mary Dowling’s Double Oak Barrel Bourbon: As Bold as the Woman Herself!
Mary Dowling was a true badass of Bourbon. Born to Irish immigrants in Kentucky, she married John Dowling, owner of Waterfill & Frazier Distillery. When he passed away, she took over the distillery like a boss! When fire razed the distillery, she rebuilt it. When Prohibition came knocking with false bootlegging charges? She relocated to Mexico and kept the whiskey flowing. That’s what we call grit!
Just like Mary herself, the Double Oak Barrel Strength Wheated Bourbon doesn’t pull any punches. Aged in two oaks, it’s a flavor fest of tobacco, chocolate, cherry, spices, and more. The finish is a short, sweet goodbye of cherry and dry spices. So here’s to Mary Dowling, the original Whiskey queen. Raise a glass and honor her legacy!
