Description
A rare sipper from a Whiskey giant.
For hundreds of millions of people around the world, Jack Daniel’s IS American Whiskey. And it all started when young Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel ran away from home at a young age — let’s just “family issue” to save space here. He was taken in a few counties away by Dan Call — a farmer, preacher, and moonshiner. Nathan Greene was a former slave working the stills for Call, and Jack earned his keep by assisting Nathan. After a few years, Jack finally received a small inheritance from his father’s estate and when Call decided to stop moonshining for religious reasons, Jack built his first legal distillery and hired Nathan as his first master distiller.
Jack Daniel’s has been owned by Brown-Forman since 1956. It is the #1 selling American Whiskey in the world, selling more than sixteen million cases a year.
Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash Bottled-in-Bond Blended Straight Whiskey is a rare sipper. This is a Bottled-in-Bond blend of a Malt, a Rye, and Tennessee Whiskeys. What might that taste like, you ask? Expect a rich, oak-forward character to delight your senses with plenty of flavors of honey, buttered toast, dry oak spice, dried fruit, and sweet grains. A hint of burnt toast lingers on, especially if you savor it neat or with a few drops of water.
