Description
In 1904, a famous international exposition was held in St. Louis, visited by almost 20 million people who came to see exhibitions by over 60 countries. For Whiskey nuts, the colossal palaces or the violent bullfight weren’t the biggest surprises of the fair—no, what blew them out of their fancy waistcoats was Jack Daniel winning the Gold Medal for ‘Best Whiskey.’
To commemorate the historic victory that surprised everyone except Tennesseans, JD created the first celebratory decanter in 1971, offering Whiskey connoisseurs a unique collectible. This very bottle was released in 2004, precisely a hundred years after the O.G. Whiskey enchanted the judges in St. Louis. Frankly, we wouldn’t dare open it, but we’ll understand if you do.
