Glendronach 29 Year Old Kingsman Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Port Wine has been big in Scotland for a long, long time and the GlenDronach Distillery is one of the oldest Scottish distilleries that was founded in the golden era of Sherry and Port and the famed Sherry and Port finishes also happen to be their specialty.

This exceptional 29YO Vintage from 1989 was inspired by the oldest bottle in their cellars – a 29YO Whisky from 1913 that was bottled just before the start of the first World War. Before they left for war, 3 friends had each bought a bottle. They vowed to eachother to open the bottles together upon their return. Tragically, only one of them returned home. He never opened the bottle and his family later gifted it to the distillery. Today still, it remains unopened and displayed in remembrance of fallen friends.
