Description
A really, really good Burgundy finish.
Glendalough was founded by “five friends from Wicklow and Dublin.” They began their journey creating Poitín — a traditional Irish distillate made in very small pot stills (sort of like small batch Irish Moonshine). From there it was a short and easy step into four Irish Whiskeys and a variety of ten, unique, Herbal-infused Gins as well. Everything is made by hand with a good measure of love.
Glendalough Grand Cru Burgundy Cask Finish is aged in first-fill Bourbon barrels before they move it into a Grand Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir Wine cask. It’s all rather fancy, with fruity and fresh flavors that bring citrus but also rich berries, dry notes, and peppery wood spice. This is a really good Burgundy finish and we can just picture you relaxing with a lovely glass of this one, sipping on it neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.
