Description
A Bourbon like they made them in the Pre-Prohibiton days.
The epitome of the American dream, George Benz was born in Osthofen, Germany back in 1838. He came to the United States at age 15 with just his clothes on his back and soon began selling Liquor. Eventually, his business grew and he opened several distilleries in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Indiana. His five sons carried on the business, until Prohibition when it was sold. This range is a celebration of George’s life’s work and it’s distilled, matured and bottled in George’s home state of Minnesota.
Geo Benz & Sons Classic American Small Batch Bourbon is a “farm-to-table” Whiskey that’s produced locally in Minnesotta. The mash bill is crafted with more than 90% corn to honor the way traditional Bourbon was crafted Pre-Prohibition. Oaky, sweet, and smooth with a burst of buttery flavors, we adore to sip this one neat-o.
