Heaven Hill Distillers is unique. And so everyone was ecstatic when they added Rye Whiskey to their core line-up. Elijah Craig Kentucky Straight Rye starts with a mash bill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% barley. This mash bill is becoming a go-to standard for Kentucky-style Rye Whiskies. It is well aged and at 47% ABV it is smooth and approachable neat but strong enough to stand up to modern cocktails without losing its man-card. And it was good enough to receive a “Platinum Best of Class” honor at the 2020 SIP Awards.
