Herman Mihalich’s dad wore a hat every day. It’s one of his fondest memories of his father. Those hats were made at the famous Stetson Hat Factory from their hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Herman founded Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey in the nearby town of Bristol where they handcraft their signature style of American Rye Whiskey. Rye is all they do, but it is available in two different proofs of aged Whiskey, two wood-finished spirits, an un-aged White Rye, and in special editions.

Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Bottled In Bond Rye Whiskey is a blend of five carefully selected barrels that were all distilled in the same season. All aged for 5 years, the final blend is a deep, rich, and flavorful creation that follows all the regulations of the historic Bottled-in-Bond Act. This means one distillery, one season, 100 proof. You can expect to be greeted by sweet grain, vanilla, and mint aromas that welcome you into the rich and balanced palate of peppery spice, cinnamon, malt, and dark chocolate.
