Description
The story of the Cameronbridge Distillery goes all the way back to 1824 when John Haig began producing the first-ever Grain Whisky in the Scottish Kingdom of Fife.
Today, Single Grain Whisky is still produced there with the methods of John Haig through Coffey and Stein stills. In two centuries, Cameronbridge became the most enduring legacy of one of the oldest Whisky dynasties in the world. Described as regal, velvet and refined in its richness, the fans continuously seek the silken and honeyed-smooth Cameronbridge character.
In 2022, a special release of Cameronbridge 26 Year Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky came out. After spending almost 3 decades in refill American Oak casks, this elegant Scotch emerged as a silky-smooth Whisky with flavors of sweet butterscotch that mellow into rich caramel and toffee, rounded up by a spicy-dry and oak-forward intensity. These tasting notes sure are a mouthful but a rare Whisky like this one deserves no less!
