Description
A blend of four mash bills and solid aging make for a dram that will not come back to bite you.
Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley played the two leading characters in the hit TV series The Vampire Diaries. In that series they played the Salvatore Brothers — vampires, sure, but brothers never the less. Anyway, they became friends over the course of the eight-year-run. And when the series ended in 2017, they maintained their friendship and decided to create a Bourbon together. Thus, Brother’s Bond Bourbon was born.
Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a blend of four MGP mash bills that combine to form a true four-grain Bourbon. The net effect is a Spirit with 65% corn and 22% rye, with wheat and malted barley making up the rest. The fermentation is performed with a proprietary yeast via the sour-mash process. It’s copper column-distilled and aged a minimum of four years in new oak with #4 char staves and #2 char heads. It’s all brand new and makes for a tasty combination.
