Giuseppe Meregalli is the exclusive Italian distributor for Ardbeg and when Gordon & MacPhail bottled the 1975 vintage in 1998, this was one of the bottles that traveled to the land of hand gestures and pizza. The deep gold Islay gem is sweet and peaty, and delivers quite a punch with its 40%.
