Description
What happens when you take the best casks from four premium Bourbon brands — heaven, that’s what.
Freddie Noe is the grandson of Whiskey legend Booker Noe. Booker gave Freddie the nickname “Little Book” and Freddie has lent that name to an annual limited edition release from Jim Beam’s premium lineup. Each is intended to be a blend of premium Bourbons and Rye Whiskies from Beam-Suntory’s various warehouses along with contributions from partner distilleries around North America.
We last wrote about the “Little Book” special editions in early 2019. And as the name implies, Little Book Chapter 3: The Road Home is the third in this series of limited releases, and boy-howdy it’s a good one. I’ve got to admit, this is right up my alley and after tasting it I am going to take a few bottles home for myself. Jim Beam has four brands in their Small Batch Bourbon Collection. Chapter 3 samples from each to create one of the best Bourbon blends we’ve tasted. Get this — it’s a mix of 9 YO Knob Creek, nine yo Basil Hayden’s, an 11 YO Booker’s and a 12 YO Baker’s. All of that Bourbon royalty is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 61.3% ABV. It’s like a blended banquet table in Bourbon heaven.
