This exceptional release results from months of research and development by O’Gorman, who created a well-balanced blend of rare and carefully chosen single-pot still and single-grain Irish whiskeys from Midleton’s limited supply.

The Midleton Very Rare 2022 Vintage Release, Middleton whisky, is a whiskey between 12 and 33 years old. It is filled with rich flavors and an enticing aroma. It is aged in barrels made of gently charred ex-bourbon American oak. While the experienced whiskey collector is taken on an exhilarating voyage through an examination of taste, the scent, taste, and finish of this Midleton whisky will excite the palates of those new to this collection.

A fruit-led opening with candied apple and fresh citrus notes of mandarin, with delicate hints of spice from grated nutmeg and white pepper dustings that accentuate the rich, velvety tones of toffee and hazelnut chocolate.
